In 64 Hexagrams & Haiku, Weaver Ross presents her 64 paintings with 64 haiku. This creative exploration arose out of her fascination with symbolic systems, blending the 64 hexagrams (combinations of six yin and yang lines) from the ancient Chinese I Ching or Book of Changes, with pattern, and metaphor to reveal moments of transformation and balance. Through this decade-long body of work, she invites viewers into a dialogue between intuition and intellect, chance and meaning, image and word.
