Description
The Puerto Rican Cuatro is a 10-string, lute-like instrument with a violin-shaped body, used primarily in traditional Puerto Rican music. It’s tuned in five courses (pairs of strings) and is a key part of the Puerto Rican jíbaro orchestra.
